Designs, develops, modifies, debugs and evaluates programs for functional or operational areas

Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements

Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs programs

Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards

Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements

May train users in conversion and implementation of system

As a Back End Engineer, you’ll analyze, develop, and design solutions for our application software. In our Agile environment, you’ll do this by performing technical design, coding with test automation, support, and documentation of software application modifications. Ultimately, through continuous integration, development and testing, you’ll ensure we deliver quality code.  Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

 Provide senior level IT technical lead services including direction, evaluation, selection, configuration, implementation, and integration of new and existing technologies and tools across platforms; provide technical expertise and complete complex development, design, implementation, architecture design specification, and maintenance activities; recommend development and architectural options and approve the team's technical deliverables; conduct testing, including functionality, technical limitations, and security. Requires Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or closely related field, or three years of study towards a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or closely related field, and five years of experience in job offered or in IT positions including Senior Software Engineer and/or Senior Developer. Background in education, training or experience must include AWS Cloud Experience, Java, Angular, Lambda, DynamoDB, and Functional testing.
